    JONNY Spontaneous rupture of the membranes, Pitocin induction, cesarean birth after two hours of unproductive pushing.
    JACK Induction with Cervidil and Pitocin, no cervical change during labor, cesarean birth.
    ROSIE Induction with Cervidil and Pitocin, long labor stalled at 8 cm, baby remains high in the pelvis, cesarean birth due to brow presentation.

    ANWAR AND LIYANA Twins, spontaneous rupture of the membranes, vaginal birth with no medical interventions.

    MARCO Weeks of preterm labor, spontaneous rupture of the membranes, precipitous active labor, vaginal birth, baby taken to NICU with breathing difficulties, teenage daughter as a doula.
